Endocrinology Services:
Endocrine Clinic in Central Florida Health Care’s Davenport Health Center offers our patients a full endocrinology and diabetes care. We offer in-person visits as well as remote visits via Telemedicine.
Diabetes services include:
  •  Diabetes Mellitus Type I, Diabetes Mellitus Type II, Latent Autoimmune Diabetes of Adult, Gestational Diabetes, Diabetes management in pregnancy. Also, we offer diabetes technology services and education including insertion and training of Continuous Glucose Monitors, Insulin Pumps and remote glucose monitoring.
  • Hypoglycemia evaluation and management.
Endocrine services include:
  • Thyroid disorders management: Hypothyroidism, Hyperthyroidism, Goiter, Thyroid disorders in pregnancy.  Thyroid nodules and Thyroid cancer evaluation, diagnosis, and non-surgical treatment.  We count with procedure room for thyroid ultrasound with same day report and thyroid fine needle biopsy for cytology and genetic evaluation.
  • Pituitary disorder management:  Pituitary tumor diagnosis and non-surgical treatment, Pituitary dysfunction diagnosis and management.
  • Adrenal gland disorders including cortisol disorders such as Adrenal Insufficiency, Cushing’s disease and steroid management. Hyperaldosteronism, Adrenal nodules evaluation and non-surgical management.
  • Male reproductive and hormonal evaluation including Primary and secondary hypogonadism diagnosis and management, testosterone treatment and male functional infertility diagnosis and management. Gynecomastia evaluation and non-surgical management.
  • Female reproductive and hormonal evaluation including Primary and secondary Amenorrhea evaluation and management, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome evaluation and management. Assistance with hormonal evaluation and management in reproductive evaluation in conjunction with OBGYN, Menopause evaluation and management,
  • Osteoporosis evaluation and management.
  • Parathyroid disorders including Primary and Secondary Hyperparathyroidism, Hypothyroidism, Hypercalcemia evaluation and management for endocrine related causes.
Metabolism services include:
  • Holistic Obesity evaluation.
  • Weight management for endocrine and non-endocrine related causes.
  • Nutritional and vitamin disorders evaluation and management.
  • Lipid and cholesterol evaluation and management
  • Hypertension secondary to Endocrine causes.
Future goals- Develop a community out-reach program for Diabetes Education with focus in glucose monitoring, hypoglycemia and hyperglycemia management, diabetes technology management, pitfalls and pearls. Endocrine walk-in and same day appointments based on patient urgency and post clinic hours on call service for Endocrine patients.
