Provider: Heather Wardy, MD

What is your patient care philosophy?

My patient care philosophy is providing the best care possible care, which involves working with families as a team, advising parents through the adventures of raising kids while guiding children through their own unique milestones. To provide quality pediatric care, it is important to stay current with the latest evidence-based guidelines, pediatric developments, and approaches to children’s healthcare.

How does your work improve lives?

My work improves lives by aiming not only to treat short-term problems and illnesses in children, but to facilitate long-term relationships and goals that make a positive impact on quality-of-life. Each child deserves individualized attention and care, and I hope to equip all parents and caregivers with the tools and resources necessary for the development of healthy children from infancy through adolescence.

What are some interesting facts about you?

I am passionate about improving the health of my young patients and helping to make a positive impact on their long-term quality of life. Each child I see is unique and special in his or her own way, and interacting with patients while making strong relationships with families is the best part of my day.

What else would you like to share about yourself?

I enjoy traveling, hiking, and spending time outdoors with my family. I also never back down from a good ‘Escape Room’ challenge. I also love movies with happy endings and playing the piano! I will treat your child with the same love, care and attention that I give my own.
