What is your patient care philosophy? 

As a family medicine-obstetrician physician, I have the privilege of caring for the whole family regardless of age, gender, culture, or pregnancy status. I especially find it rewarding to empower women in all the stages of their life from family planning to conception, pregnancy, and menopause, so they can be there for their families. I believe in journeying alongside my patients through the healthcare system when needed, though I aim to keep them well so they can pursue their fullest lives for their own personal and family well-being.

What are some interesting facts about you? 

I improve outcomes by involving my patients in medical decision making, coordinating and demystifying their care, and providing pertinent information at our visits, including point-of-care ultrasound and tests when necessary.

What are some interesting facts about you? 

I was raised in Avon Park, Florida, but have had the opportunity to live and serve abroad, including Peru, Mexico, Chad, and Malawi, Africa. I enjoy meeting and learning from people from all walks of life. The variety keeps me from getting too comfortable and stagnant.
