What is your patient care philosophy?

Patients trust providers to have their best interests in mind when providing care. We need to work with the patients to tailor their care to meet their needs and abilities. Giving textbook answers that are impossible for the patient to meet sets us all up for failure and is defeating to everyone involved.

What would you like people to know about you as a physician/provider?

I have been in health care for a long time. My current role as Nurse Practitioner allows me to help people in their journey to better health, often requiring creative thinking and always a lot of cooperation. I enjoy having a “team” relationship with my patients. “Decisions Determine Destiny.”

How does your work improve lives?

I do my best to help patients meet their health goals, even those they are unaware of.

What are some interesting facts about you?

I love to read, play golf, and travel.
