Provider: Auriel Ciccarelli, MSN, APRN, WHNP-BC, CNM

What is your patient care philosophy?

To provide my patients with informed, patient centered care with dignity and respect for their individual lives and situations.

What would you like people to know about you as a physician/provider?

Community care is where I feel I can make a difference… where I have the resources to get patients the help and care that they need and deserve. I made a commitment as a provider to help others; this is one of the many things that makes my life on this earth fulfilling. I want to know that I have made a difference in people’s lives and helped to make the world a better place even if it’s only one visit at a time, one person at a time or one family at a time.

How does your work improve lives?

I provide informed care that helps women make the best decision for themselves and their lives. Individualized care for each person will improve their own outcomes as it meets their expectations of what is important to them and their own needs.

What are some interesting facts about you?

I love to sing! I have been in school choirs, church choirs, independent performances, and have also been on a recorded album by my mother. I have been trained in opera voice, but I love to sing almost any genre and thoroughly enjoy karaoke for fun.

What else would you like to share about yourself?

My favorite quote is, “Whatever you choose to do, leave tracks. That means don’t do it just for yourself. You will want to leave the world a little better for your having lived.” – RGB
