What is your patient care philosophy?
My patient care philosophy is to treat the whole person, not just the condition they are experiencing. I believe every patient deserves to be heard, respected, and treated with compassion. I strive to build a trusting relationship with my patients, understand their individual needs and circumstances, and work together with them to create a plan that supports their overall health and well-being while overcoming barriers.
How does your work improve lives?
I believe my professional efforts positively influence individuals by addressing their unique circumstances and providing comprehensive, personalized care. Each patient presents a distinct story, with various challenges and needs. As a Family Nurse Practitioner, I am honored to listen to these stories, deliver educational and evidence-based interventions, and support patients in making informed decisions to improve their health.
It is a privilege to contribute to an advocate for equitable access to healthcare, recognizing it as a fundamental human right, irrespective of socioeconomic status or other external factors.
What are some interesting facts about you?
I am a first-generation college graduate. The healthcare I received during childhood has inspired my commitment to promoting accessible and equitable healthcare. I am passionate about animal welfare. One of my personal goals is to participate in mission trips where I can utilize my healthcare background to support health education and increase healthcare awareness in underserved communities.
