¿Cuál es su filosofía de atención al paciente?

Patients are always first. We are here to serve, and my purpose of serving is to improve people’s lives even in their most difficult times. I like to encourage my patients to become part of their care and well-being, providing support, tools, education, and resources for them to take charge of their lives, health, and well-being. I like to see my patients smiling and feeling well whenever I interact with them.

¿Cómo su trabajo mejora vidas?

By providing support, education, tools, resources and serving my patients. I believe I can improve lives every day, starting with mine and my close ones and extending it to my patients, and work family.

¿Cuáles son algunos datos interesantes sobre ti?

I am the 9th child of 11 siblings, same mother and father. I am a single mother of 2 teenage girls. I have been a nurse since 2001, and graduated from Interamerican University in Puerto Rico. I worked in San Juan, P.R for a brief time and I moved to Lakeland, Florida in 2002. I have worked at Lakeland Regional, Tampa General, Advent Health, and BayCare. The first 5 years of my nursing career started in the hospital setting with adults. I then transitioned to pediatrics mostly in the NICU for 11 years until I started working as Family Nurse Practitioner.
