Central Florida Health Care is conveying the importance of National Health Center Week from Sunday, August 8 through Saturday, August 14.
National Health Center Week is an annual celebration that raises awareness about the mission of America’s health centers. Every day there is a different awareness to shed light on. CFHC has planned special things for its employees and patients during the week and will also be giving back to the community in support of two causes.
Here are the dedicated focus days:
Sunday, August 8 ~ Public Health in Housing Day
Monday, August 9 ~ Healthcare for the Homeless Day
Tuesday, August 10 ~ Agricultural Worker Health Day
Wednesday, August 11 ~ Patient Appreciation Day
Thursday, August 12 ~ Stakeholder Appreciation Day
Friday, August 13 ~ Health Center Appreciation Day
Saturday, August 14 ~ Children’s Health Day
CFCH staff will be collecting canned goods and toiletries on Monday and Tuesday to support the Homeless Coalition of Polk County and migrant workers.
