What is your patient care philosophy?

I treat patients with respect, dignity, and compassion, focusing on their individual needs and preferences. I strive to provide the best medical care, guided by the lasted research and best practices. My goal is to create a safe and supportive environment where patients feel comfortable expressing their concerns and asking questions.

How does your work improve lives?

As a primary care physician, I focus on prevention through advocating for age-appropriate screenings, immunizations, and patient education on healthy lifestyles. By doing so, I aim to prevent serious health issues and improve life expectancy.

What are some interesting facts about you?

I’m the youngest and only female among 4 siblings. I’m the first-generation university student in my family. I grew up in a small town on the east coast of Puerto Rico, where I developed a love for the ocean. Interestingly, despite being Puerto Rican my favorite food is Mexican cuisine.

What else would you like to share about yourself?

I truly love my job as a physician; I never considered pursing anything else. My career is incredibly fulfilling due to the opportunity to make a direct, positive impact on people’s lives, especially during vulnerable moments. I’ve found a strong sense of purpose and meaning in the work I do.
